The Usha Hyderabad factory has demonstrated a strong dedication to sustainability by aligning itself with the United Nations’ sustainability goals, as well as establishing its own internal sustainability initiatives. By embracing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Usha has actively contributed to global efforts aimed at addressing pressing challenges such as poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. Overall, Usha plans to achieve 17 goals and 169 targets by 2030, under Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015. Moreover, Usha has gone beyond these international benchmarks, implementing its own sustainability goals and strategies to reduce its environmental footprint and promote social equality.
